State Reporting 22.12.2.0 Release Notes

The reposchema is updated with a precondition to ensure the script runs (at the correct time); This will ensure all reports load as expected on the System Reports tab.

The Student Contacts interface has exposed a new “Primary Contact” flag. Districts should now leverage this field to indicate which contact (and other contact-related information) should be reported to UTREx.

Data is saved to the following Table.Field:

• STUDENTCONTACTDETAILCOREFIELDS.PrimaryContact

Added a new Incident Attribute for “Retaliation,” which will be used to indicate whether the incident was retaliation or an alleged retaliation.

Note: The SMP will be coded to return a value of N if this incident attribute is not used.

A new Student Attendance Summary Override page is now located off of State / Province UT and will allow end users to manually create Student Attendance Summary records that will override the attendance, membership, and absence data that is calculated by PowerSchool and sent via SIF.

If no override record has been created through this interface, PowerSchool will calculate the attendance, membership, and absence data as it always has. This new page/interface is strictly to be used as an override when necessary.

Note: At this time, the Agent and SMP are not coded to send data from any Student Attendance Summary Override records that are created via this new interface. This functionality is part of a larger effort that involves a new SIF Dashboard that can be utilized to more easily see what data is being sent to UTREx via SIF.

More information will be provided when the SIF Dashboard functionality is completed, released and available for use.

UT Program & Course Membership Report: Version 2.2

The Program & Course Membership Report has been updated to take into account the Vocational Multiplier field value (at the Section level), and the report will now multiply the normally calculated value by whatever Vocational Multiplier field value is saved (a blank/null will be an assumed “1”).

Field: S_UT_SEC_X.VocMult

Examples:

• Suppose the report calculates the membership for a section, and the result is 50, but the Vocational Multiplier field is populated with a 2. In that case, the report will calculate and save a final value of 100.
• Suppose the report is calculating the membership for a section, and the result is 50, but the Vocational Multiplier field is populated with a .5. In that case, the report will calculate and save a final value of 25.

Note: The program membership calculation is unchanged.

Additionally, the output file has been updated. It will now have a Vocational Multiplier column allowing end users to see what values influence the calculated course membership value.
