State Reporting 22.4.1.1 Release Notes

Important updates are now available to correct two known issues and to implement new student inclusion criteria announced by TEA this week.

• Header Labels: The following labels are updated to conform to the final file template layout.

  • Column B: Semester(1)

  • Column C: Change_Indicator (1)

  • Column M: #_of_days_eligible_for_P-EBT (3)

  • Column W: Zip5 (5)

• SSN Output: The formatting of the SSN_or S_Num output (column G) is modified so that values for students with alternate SSN’s are correctly reported with the leading ‘S’ character.

• New Student Inclusion Criteria: Homeless, Foster Care, Migrant

  • Students enrolled at eligible schools with NSLP Campus Type Codes of 01 or 02 who have at least one day of COVID or Virtual Attendance are now included regardless of Economic Disadvantage Coding if they meet one or more of these criteria:

    • PEIMS General record: Homeless Status Code (E1082) of 2, 3, 4, or 5 at any point during the current year.

    • PEIMS General record: Foster Care Indicator (E1528) of 1, 2, or 3 at any point during the current year.

    • Migrant Special Program: Migrant Indicator (E0984) of 1 at any point during the current year.

  • Note that these additional categories of students at eligible schools with an NSLP Campus Type Code of 03 (CEP) are already included in the file if they meet the COVID/Virtual Attendance criteria.
