TN EIS SFTP Automation

Extracts can now be scheduled to run at a specified time and day. When the extracts are created they automatically upload to an SFTP server. Extracts that are successfully created and transmitted appear in the extract list with the filename appended with "_transmtted" and a transmitted timestamp.

If the SFTP server where the extracts are uploaded is not already registered in Powerschool, register it as follows:

1. Navigate to the Plugin Management Dashboard.

2. Click Remote Connection Manager.

3. Click Create Connection.

4. Populate the form with the connection parameters for the SFTP server.

5. Click Submit.

Set the scheduler parameters using the following steps:

1. Navigate to the Tennessee Education Information System (EIS) page.

2. Click the Maintenance tab.

3. Click Schedule Extracts.

4. Set the Scheduled Start Time for when the extract processes should run.

5. Select the Days to run the extract processes.

6. Select the Extracts to run.

7. From the Connection drop-down list, select the SFTP server to which the extract should be uploaded

8. Click Schedule Extracts.
