State Reporting 20.3.2.0 Release Notes

The issue where LG_ tables were deleted and not recreated upon startup is resolved. The DEX Common Data Change Configuration config file is created and reloaded upon startup, and the LG_ tables are created properly.

Note: After installing this version, republish all the dashboard categories except the On-Demand categories, using Publish All to recover any missing changes.

When publishing many records, the Publishing column on the Ed-Fi dashboard slowed down and approximately two transactions were published per second. The performance of the stored procedure that computes the next batch of publishing jobs is now improved. The publishing rate is increased to around 25 transactions per second.

New HomeLanguage field is added to the S_TN_STU_X table and a new Home Language field is added on the TN State/Province Page.

Tennessee Refresh Federal Race and Ethnicity Data, v1.2

The Tennessee Refresh Federal Race and Ethnicity Data report now updates the value of S_TN_STU_X.FRE field correctly.

The update process is changed so that the value of the S_TN_STU_X.FRE field is now updated upon submission of the Demographics page.

Extracts can now be scheduled to run at a specified time and day. When the extracts are created, they automatically upload to an SFTP server. Extracts that are successfully created and transmitted appear in the extract list with the filename appended with "_transmtted" and a transmitted timestamp.

If the SFTP server where the extracts are uploaded is not already registered in PowerSchool, register it using the following steps.

1. Navigate to the Plugin Management Dashboard.
2. Click  the Remote Connection Manager link to open the Remote Connection Manager Setup page.
3. Click the Remote Connection Manager link.
4. Click the Create Connection button.
5. Populate the form with the connection parameters for the SFTP server and submit.

Set the scheduler parameters using the following steps:

1. Navigate to the Tennessee Education Information System (EIS) page.
2. Click the Maintenance tab.
3. Click the Schedule Extracts link.
4. Set the Scheduled State Time when the extract processes should run.
5. Select the Days that the extract processes should run.
6. Select the Extracts to run.
7. From the Connection drop-down list, select the SFTP server to which the extract should be uploaded
8. Click Schedule Extracts.
