The following data elements are required for district setup. The first two pages of navigation are removed for brevity:

Start Page > District Setup.

  1. On the Start Page, click the School link. The school list appears.
  2. Choose District Office from the pop-up menu. The district start page appears.
  3. Click District. The District Setup page appears.

Defining Provincial Assessments

Grading > Provincial Assessments

Identify the provincial assessments administered by your division; assessments selected here will be available on the Provincial Assessments data entry page in the PowerTeacher portal, where teachers can select the applicable assessment for each student.

All assessments that are currently active (available for teachers to select from the PowerTeacher Portal), appear in the right-hand list. Use the up and down arrows to change the order in which the reading assessments appear in the list. Click the “-“ button to remove a previously-selected assessment from the list. On the Provincial Assessments > Edit Assessment data entry page in the PowerTeacher portal, assessments appear in the same order as they appear here.
