As of November 25, 2020, PowerSchool State Reporting only supports PowerSchool 19.4.5.3 or later, and our Technology and Support teams will focus solely on supporting PowerSchool versions 19.4.5.3 or later.

The minimum interval between the third and fourth DTaP dose is updated to four months. The interval is now reduced from six months to four months.

Contact Tracing Report Update - Busing Data

Contact Tracing Report: Version 1.1

The Contact Tracing report is updated and now pulls busing data based on a newly added report parameter.

With the busing data parameter checked, the report will pull students that may have shared the bus with the report the student is run for based on the following:

• Bus Number

• Route Number

• Day

• From/To School

District Fact Template - Title 1 Report: Version 1.8

The District Fact Template - Title I report is updated with an option to run the report for students identified as Title 1 using Student Template Field 96. If this runtime option is set to No, Special Program enrollments will be used.

Incident Offender Disciplinary Action Template (Log Table Data): Version 1.7

This report is updated to convert the GetCF method call to direct extended fields to improve report performance.

Incident Template EWS: Version 1.3

Location Fact Template - Safe Schools: Version 1.11

Converted the GetCF method call to use the extended fields to achieve better performance for the Location Fact Template Safe School Report.

PA State Audit Report: Version 1.10

Converted the GetCF method call to use the extended fields to achieve better performance for the Pennsylvania State Audit Report.

The description for Field 212 value (A) PASA, no PASA precode label is updated to display as (A) PASA, no PSSA precode label.

Student Digital Equity and Learning Preference Tracking Available in the Public Portal

A new page is now available (if enabled) in the public portal that will enable parents and guardians to enter learning preference and digital equity data for their student or students.

This functionality is disabled by default. To enable, navigate to the following page:

• Start Page> District Setup> Miscellaneous

If enabled, parents/guardians have the ability to create records and populate the following fields:

• Effective Date

  • Defaults to the current date

• Learning Preference

• Requested Timeframe

• Requesting Parent/Guardian

  • Defaults to the current user

• Internet in Residence*

• Internet Access*

• Internet Performance*

• Device Access*

  • Only display options 1, 2, & 5

The Comment field is not visible when a parent/guardian is creating a record but it will the following string will get saved for any record created in the public portal:

• Created in the public portal

Additionally, if a parent/guardian has entered a Digital Equity & Learning Preference record previously and they create a new record, the above elements that are marked with an asterisk will be pre-populated based on the values in the existing (previous) record.

The value of the Summer_Withdrawal_YN field is carried over to the previous enrollment when a student is reenrolled.

A new local field, School Building Override, is added to the Current and Previous Enrollment pages. The field only accepts numeric whole number values.

The Graduation Status Code field on the Re-Enroll In School page in the Student Functions section is updated to display a blank value by default when a student is being re-enrolled in school. If no value is selected, the field will be null when the new enrollment record is saved.

The State tab of the System Reports page is updated as follows:

• Course and Grades Domain is renamed to Course Domain.
• Staff Student Sub-test Template in the Course and Grades Domain is relocated to the Student Domain.
• Groups and Programs Domain is renamed to Programs Domain.
• Location Domain is relocated to the Program Domain.
• A description is added to the field label Percentage of Time Enrolled. If blank, a value of 100 is extracted.

A new field, Exclude from PIMS Staff Templates, is added on the Staff Information page. The label description for Staff Qualification Status Code is updated as this field is collected for the 2020-2021 School Year.
