All States/Provinces: Enhanced UI - Current Selection Functionality Update

The Current Student Selection functionality was not working correctly in PowerSchool SIS 23.10.1.0 with PowerSchool SIS State/Provincial Reporting 23.10.2.x in the Enhanced User Interface (UI). This could potentially involve actions for one student being applied to another student. This was a regression issue caused by changes that allowed end users using the Enhanced UI to favorite System and Compliance reports.

These changes were rolled back and the Current Student Selection now behaves as expected. A new fix will be implemented in a future release to allow end users (using the Enhanced UI) to favorite reports (System & Compliance).

EQAO Extracts - Updated Extracts with XML Output and Excel Output File Option

EQAO Report: Version 7.1

The EQAO Grade 9 Math (Winter, Spring) and PISA extracts are enhanced to allow users to generate XML output in addition to the existing Excel output. With this update, users will have the flexibility to choose their desired format for the upload. The XML output resolved the current issues with the Excel output. The XML output does not require any editing before uploading it to the Ministry. It is ready to be submitted without any additional steps.

Starting from the 2023-2024 school year, the report will no longer generate The EDUCATOR_ASSIGNMNET segment. The report will retain this segment for prior years (if needed). Also, the October SUBMISSION_PERIOD_TYPE has been updated to OCTPRVSEC2.
