Elementary Report Cards (7-8) - Gradebook - (LEGACY): Version 5.6

A legacy version of current Elementary Report Cards (7-8) has been created and placed under the Legacy Reports section. This report should be used to print report cards for the 2016-2017 through 2019-2020 school years.

A legacy version of current Elementary Report Cards (1-6) has been created and placed under the Legacy Reports section. This report should be used to print report cards for the 2016-2017 through 2019-2020 school years.

OCAS Electronic Transcript: Version 1.6

The report includes the following enhancements:

• Starting with the 2020-2021school year, the student is marked as achieving their community hours if the student completed 20 hours or more.
• The student's community involvement is marked as "N/A" when the student is OSSD and the student's diploma date is between March 13th, 2020, and either the first school day of the Graduation School, if entered for the student, or the first school day of student school of enrollment.

EQAO Extracts: Version 5.0

To support schools running a quadmester or octomester schedule, this report now includes students who are preregistered for later in the school year. In addition, the specifications required the following changes:

• ProjectCode is set to OSSLT_A_21 for 2020-2021.
• The SemesterIndicator field now uses the course's TermID portion value to determine the value to report.
• The SemesterIndicator, LevelOfStudyLanguage, and ESLELD fields all use the current (as of effective date/run date) English course the student is enrolled in. If the student is not currently enrolled in an English course, the report uses the student's last English course of the year to determine the Semester Indicator value.
• Several accommodation fields are now discontinued. For the following accommodation fields, a value of # is always reported.

OnSIS Elementary School Submission: Version 14.0

The OnSIS Elementary School Submission report was failing for students who had a  No Show reenrolment record for the previous year and were enrolled in classes for the full year. These students were in the PAE file and transferred to a new school for the 2020-21 school year. The report is updated to include these students, and no longer fails to run.

OnSIS Elementary School Submission: Version 13.9

Enhanced the crossed enrolled student logic to exclude students who are ONLY enrolled in classes with no course type from the report output.

On the District Office > District Info page, a new page is available to define 16 day dates used for calculating students' minutes of instruction (MOI) for the new models (Quad/Octomeser). The calculation is based on the average minutes on each 16 date defined for each Quad/Octomester. Those dates must be common for all schools. Boards using the new models need to define all dates on the page. Valid dates fall within the selected school year's start and end dates.

OnSIS Elementary School Submission: Version 13.9

SALEP segment is not printing in the OnSIS Elementary XML file. The segment is now generated for students enrolled in a SAL program.

Added new fields to District> Schools/SchoolInfo > Select High School > Special Functions > Edit School that identify what model the school is running. Schools will need to identify the model used for both the first and second halves of the year. Schools using the semester model (previous year's model) for both halves do not need to set up the fields. Field values are semester, Quadmaster, Octomester, Quad/Octomester (Both). Schools may use Quad/Octomester (Both) if there are students enrolled in classes in both Quad and Octomester schedule.

A district-level pref is now available to enable the Digital Equity & Learning Preference data entry in the Public Portal. The pref is disabled by default.

A security update has been made to the Digital Equity & Learning Preference data collection functionality in the public portal and now records can only be seen and modified for the student tied to the guardian that is logged in.
