SIF Objects

The Oklahoma State Department of Education (SDE) requires that student information systems (SIS) used at all public school districts be able to send student and staff information to the state based on the School Interoperability Framework (SIF). This is a comprehensive statewide student record tracking and reporting system.

The SIF Agent automatically publishes predefined data from a PowerSchool application for use by other applications.

Publishing is triggered whenever add, edit, or delete events occur. For example, a new student enrollment would be an add event, while a change to one of the predefined data elements would change event.

Note: Verify the PowerSchool SIF Agent is installed and configured to communicate with PowerSchool and the Wave Zone Integration Server (ZIS).
