Test the selected GPA methods by following the steps outlined below:

On the GPA Student Screen setup page, add a row for each method selected for use in NY state reporting. See Figure 6 for examples of this setup.

2. Identify a student whose cumulative attempted credits are greater than 0. Navigate to that student's Cumulative Info page and verify the values displayed for each of the GPA rows created in Step 1 (above).
3. If necessary, adjust the parameters of the GPA methods and repeat step 2 until the expected GPA and credit values are displayed.

Once the GPA results are displaying as expected on this page, the Student Credit GPA Extract will also reflect accurate values for any student who has attempted and/or earned graduation credit.
