State Reporting 21.10.2.0 Release Notes

Behavior codes in Incident Management are revised to meet updated NY state requirements. Items in bold are new or updated values:

• Homicide
• Sexual Offense
• Assault
• Weapons Possession
• Material Incidents of Discrimination, Harassment, and Bullying
  • All incidents excluding Cyberbullying
  • Cyberbullying
• Bomb Threat
• False Alarm
• Threat (except bomb threat/false alarm)
• Use, Possession, or Sale of Drugs
• Use, Possession, or Sale of Alcohol

To load these updated codes into the database,:

• Navigate to District Office > District Info > Discipline Codes and Subcodes Status
• Click the link to “Load Codes / Subcodes”
• Select the checkbox for the “Load Codes / Subcodes” option and submit the page
• The updated codes will be loaded during the next ‘hourly process’

New SFTP report for showing students digital resource data is now available in the state reports page under the “NY eScholar Extracts“ section.
This report generates Student Digital Resource records for the selected students, schools, and data range.

School Enrollment Extract (SFTP): Version 5.2

The Student Enrollment Extract is updated to only include the exit comment when the associated exit code is also populated.

Student Daily Attendance (SFTP) version 3.3 has been updated to exclude the attendance records which are In-Session but the membership value is 0.

The Daily Student Attendance Extract has been updated to honor the Location code override as follows:

If there is a value present in the location code field on the student’s enrollment page for a particular student, then the extract reports this value for all records of this student on the ““LOCATION CODE“ field of Student daily attendance report.
Else it is made to report the “Local BOCES Bldg Code“ from the school info page.

The following validations have been applied to the listed student address fields:

1. Street (Address1)should not contain "PO(PO/P o/p.O/P.o.)” with the word “box".
2. Street (Address1) should not be blank.
3. City should not be blank.
4. State should not be blank.
5. Zip code should not be blank.
6. Zip code length should not be less than 5 characters.
