Behavior in Case of Restricted Access

The following different behaviors are applicable based on the level of access defined for users:

  • The new record is visible on this Physical Restraint/TimeOut page in a tabular format. At the end of the record, there is a button that you can use to edit the record. If you click Edit, you can update values as required. In the Edit page, you can also delete the record by using the Delete button.

  • If the access to the event type field is set to Read-Only for users, then they cannot create a new record because the event type drop-down list will not be displayed. In the Edit mode, the event type value is displayed as read-only and users can edit other values.

  • If the access to the event type field is set to No Access for users, then they cannot create a new record because in place of the event type drop-down list, asterisk characters are displayed. In the Edit mode also, for the event type field, asterisk characters are displayed but users can edit other values.

  • If the entire page is set to Read-Only for users, then users cannot create a new record and when they click Edit, the data is displayed in read-only mode.

  • If the entire page is set to No Access for users, the menu option Physical Restraint/TimeOut will be hidden from users.
