PSSR-343497

NOVA: Discipline Resource Publishing Update - Log Type / Incident Type

The Discipline Resource record selection criteria are updated to consider the Log Type or Incident Type when determining which incidents need to be published. This is in response to the interest in only publishing Logs and Incidents flagged for reporting to NOVA. There is a special consideration regarding discipline records that were previously published, as some may no longer be applicable after these changes.

NOVA: Student Food Service Program Association Update

The publishing of the Student Food Service Program Association is updated to ensure that directCertificationStatusDescriptor is always present. If a student's Economic Disadvantage Status Code value is blank, then the directCertificationStatusDescriptor is published as blank and if it has a valid value, then a valid descriptor is published.

Services Fact Data Entry Page Updates

The Services Fact Data Entry Page is updated to indicate that Speech Only (SO) records are for local use only and will not be published to the state’s operational data store (ODS).

Title III Funding field addition in schools page

A new Title III Funding-related field is added to the School Information page under the District Office.

• Path: Start Page> District Management> District Setup> School Info> [Select School]

• Location: Under the “Auto Generate 3Y/4Y records for applicable students?” field

• Name: Is the school receiving Title III funds?

This is a Yes/No field and it defaults to No. An alert displays to the right of the field value and indicates that: Setting this to Yes will result in Title III records being published instead of EL records.
