Ed-Fi Framework: Fix for 403 Error Message

For the resources Students, Staff, Parents, and Contacts, a 403 error will be ignored, and the records will be marked as successfully published. However, for all other resources, a 403 error will trigger under a valid scenario and a message, 'Data record cannot be updated until linked to a school,' is displayed, indicating that a school association must be established first.

The following changes have been made to the Student Demographics (studentEducationOrganizationAssociation) for 24-25 NOVA reporting:

• The new BarrierToInternetAccess element will now be published.

  • Source field: S_STU_X.BarrierIntAccess

• Up to 3 additional languages can now be published with the the Other language proficiency languageUseDescriptor value.

  • Source fields:

    • S_NM_STU_X.OthLangProf

    • S_NM_STU_X.OthLangProf2

    • S_NM_STU_X.OthLangProf3

• The new postSecondarySignedPlanDate element will now publish when applicable.

  • Source field: S_NM_STU_X.PSSignPlanDate

NOVA - exitWithdrawDate/endDate & ORA Error Update

The logic for the following resources has been updated and now the exitWithdrawDate/endDate values for the respective records will publish as expected.

• School Enrollment (studentSchoolAssociation) - exitWithdrawDate

• Student Programs (studentProgramAssociation) - endDate

• Student Special Education Programs (studentSpecialEducatioProgramAssociation) - endDate

Additionally, as part of this change, the following ORA error will no longer be triggered (in the Diagnostic Viewer - Logged Messages (Errors Only) page.

NOVA - New 24-25 Resource - Migrant Program (studentMigrantEducationProgramAssociation)

The new Migrant Program (studentMigrantEducationProgramAssociation) logic is now available and this data will publish as part of the Student Programs (Ed-Fi) dashboard category.

This data publishes from the new Migrant child table (S_NM_STU_Migrant_C) available on a student’s Migrant tab (off of Compliance)

The Student Programs (studentProgramAssociation) logic is updated and now NMPreK (child table) records will publish as expected when one of the new Participation Information Descriptors are used.
