Ed-Fi - Project Nova - Additional Table Triggers

Table triggers have been added to the following NM-specific table extension and child table:

• S_NM_STU_SpedEvents_C

• S_NM_STU_X

This means that when data (in these extensions) is modified, the Ed-Fi functionality will automatically publish the appropriate related resource records shortly after page submit.

Ed-Fi - Project Nova -Language Logic Updates

The following updates have been made to the studentEducationOrganizationAssociation resource logic:

• The language element logic will now honor the district-level default flag.

• If the student (or district-level default setting) has no value defined, a value of 00 (English) will be published.

• The LanguageUseDescriptor will now publish a value of “Home Language”

Ed-Fi - Project Nova Pilot - StaffDevelopment Resource Updates

The following updates have been made to the StaffDevelopment resource logic:

• Staff tied to the District Office will now report the correct (8 digit) EdOrgID value with the last three digits being 000.

• Staff with multiple school associations will now only report a single StaffDevelopment record per activity code. The published record will have an EdOrgID value that reflects the staff’s “home school” (on the Security Settings page).

Language Spoken in Home Field Validation Update

The validation on the Language Spoken in Home field (on the B_ilingual Education_ page) has been updated and now all valid (PED) values can be selected and saved without triggering a validation error.
