22-23 STARS Changes - ELTP After-School Program Attendance Data Entry Screen

The ELTP After-School Program Attendance data entry screen is now available (at the path below) and can be used to track students in the program and the number of days they attend.

Start Page> Special Functions> ELTP After-School Program Attendance

Students that are marked as attending through this page will have a record saved to the S_NM_STU_ELTP_ASP_Att_C child table where the Attended = 1.

Students with records in this table (where the Date value falls within the reporting period and the Attended column = 1) will get an EELTO record automatically generated in the Program Services Fact extract. This means districts can either manually enter an EELTO record through the Program Services Fact enter new record page or they can ELTP After-School Program Attendance Data Entry Screen that’s now available with this update.

Note: Prior to using this screen, the following setup must be done:

District level - District Info page:

• Include or Exclude Students from the EELTO -ELTP After School Program

• Note: This field should be set based on whether or not the majority of students will be participating (or not participating in the ELTP After-School program. If most of the students will be participating, set this field to Exclude and the smaller population of students that will not be participating can be excluded. Conversely, if most of the students will NOT be participating, set this field to Include and the smaller population of students that will be participating can be set to be included (participating).

Student level - State / Province NM > Misc tab

• If District level flag is set to Include, the student-level field description will display as follows:

  • Include this student in the EELTO - ELTP After School program

• If District level flag is set to Exclude, the student-level field description will display as follows:

  • Exclude this student in the EELTO - ELTP After School program

• Note: If District level flag has not been set, the student-level field description will display as follows:

  • Set Include/Exclude at the District Level to enable field
