Incident Management: Code Severity

The following table details the severity and ranking of offenses. Multiple behaviors are allowed per offender; however, one of the behaviors must be the Primary Behavior.
Note: Flagging a behavior as the Primary Behavior does not mean it will be reported. If multiple behaviors are tied to an offender, the behavior with the lowest ranking number (the most severe) will be reported.
Severity of Offense
1 = Most severe offense, i.e. 1st degree felony
2 = Serious offense, i.e. 2nd degree felony
3 = Serious offense, i.e. 3rd of 4th degree felony
4 = Minor offense, i.e. misdemeanor
5 = Very minor, administrative action or petty misdemeanor.
