Primary Exit Reason Codes
The following primary exit reason codes are used in the Special Education extract.

9 | Withdrawn by parent |
12 | Completion of the IFSP prior to age 3 |
13 | Exit to other program, reached age 3, re-evaluated, no longer eligible |
14 | Exit with no referral, reached age 3, re-evaluated, no longer eligible |
16 | Moved out of state |
17 | Attempts to contact parents unsuccessful |
Ages 3 – 21 (Part B) – When the School-Aged Indicator is Yes | |
2 | Returned to full-time regular education program. Include students with a disability whose parent revokes consent for special education services. |
3 | Graduated with a regular high school diploma |
4 | Graduated with a certificate of completion |
5 | Reached maximum age |
6 | Deceased |
7 | Dropped Out |
11 | Transfer out to another district (moved; known to be continuing) |
