Per the updated guidelines for the 23-24 Submission, the non-binary elements will appear in the report output without limitations, and the result will be displayed accordingly.

The below-mentioned updates or changes are now available to accommodate the CRDC 23-24 requirements:

  • The CSV and PDF CRDC files are updated to include the 23-24 updates for Mechanical Restraint, Physical Restraint, and Seclusion data.

  • The School submission files have now been combined into 1 file.

  • The CSV and PDF files are updated to accommodate PSCH-2a to 2d and DISC-1a to 1d logic.

PSSR-370653

All States: CRDC 23-24 Updates for JUST-4

The Justice 4 logic of the CRDC report has now been updated to consider 180 days per the updated logic.

The below-mentioned logic has been implemented to accommodate the CRDC 23-24 updates for PreSchoolers in the submission, audit, and PDF files.

  • For PSCH-2a:

    • For Y: PSCH-2a & DISC-1a: Preschool English Learner Indicator should be F.

    • For N: PSCH-2a & DISC-1a: Preschool English Learner Indicator should be N or Y.

  • For PSCH 2b:

    • For Y: PSCH-2b & DISC-1b: Preschool English Learner Identification Indicator should be Y.

    • For N: PSCH-2b & DISC-1b: Preschool English Learner Identification Indicator should be N.

  • For PSCH 2c:

PSCH 4B has been updated to include the number of students with IDEA disabilities in the reports.

MSIS 2.0: K12 Organization Updates

The school information interface has been updated with new fields, field relocations, and a legacy section.

  1. New and Updated Fields:

    • School Type: Added mandatory field with predefined options (e.g., Regular, Special).

    • Magnet or Special Program Emphasis School: Reused existing CRDC field with updated labels for clarity.

    • Virtual Indicator: Reused existing CRDC field with updated labels for consistency.

    • Charter School Indicator: Reused existing CRDC field with updated labels.

    • School Operational Status: New field with status options (e.g., Open, Closed).

    • Operational Status Effective Date: New date field enabled for non-blank operational statuses.

  2. Link Relocation:

    • The "Final Grade Store Codes" link has been moved from the School’s CRDC tab to a new stand-alone tab for improved accessibility.

  3. Legacy Section Creation:

    • A new "Legacy Information" section consolidates fields no longer used for MSIS 2.0, including Schedule Type and various Title I indicators.

MSIS 2.0: K12 Scheduling Resource Updates

K12 Scheduling Version: 1.7

The K12 Scheduling Resource has been updated to publish the Institution of Higher Learning (IHL). A new Institution of Higher Learning data entry field has been added to the Sections page.

  1. When the Institution of Higher Learning field on the Sections page is filled out, the system publishes:

    1. Organization Type = "PostsecondaryInstitution".

    2. Responsible Organization Identifier = Institution of Higher Learning

  2. When the Institution of Higher Learning is not populated, the system defaults the organization type to "LEA".

The resource was also updated to publish the Lead Teacher as the Course Proctor. A new "Publish Lead Teacher as" field is added allowing school administrators to select a co-teaching role. The chosen reference code is then published as the classroom position type.
