To support the Entry/Exit Code changes in PowerSchool 22.5.0 and maintain backward compatibility with earlier versions of PowerSchool, updates have been made and now the end users will see the following:

• PowerSchool version 22.5.0 (or greater) - The Entry/Exit Codes will show as inactive after the defined effective end date.

• PowerSchool versions prior to 22.5.0 - Entry/Exit Codes will behave as they always have (cannot be inactivated).

MS Daily Absentee Report: Version 2.4

The Daily Absentee Report is updated to handle special characters including Spanish, German, French plus “&”, “<“, and “>”.

Note: Russian characters are replaced with # to ensure that the report does not fail.

The State Report page is modified to include the Daily Absentee Report. Daily Absentee Reports (Legacy) are school-level reports and are listed only when the selected school is not set to the district.

The reporting logic is modified to extract the emergency contact. Only the first 3 active contacts that are marked as emergency contacts on the contacts page will be extracted in the report output. Expired Emergency contacts are not extracted.

The Truancy report can be run only from the school level. Therefore, on the report page, the Truancy Report Submit button is disabled at the district level and a message “This Report can only be run at the school level.“ is displayed.
