Ed-Fi Framework: Definitions for Detecting Changes Error Messages Displays Incorrectly

On the Ed-Fi Dashboard, there is a message that says “Definitions for detecting data changes are out-of-date. Please restart PowerSchool when convenient to update definitions.” This message could continuously appear even after restarting PowerSchool. The cause of this has been corrected and will no longer display after a restart.

When a no-show student has an exit date that is before the first day of school, the entered exit date is used as the published exit date. If the exit date is after the first day of school, then the previous in-session date is used as the published exit date.

When a student is enrolled in a program and that student transfers out of school, then later transfers back into school while enrolled in the same program(s), the second program record at the ODS will not be present. This issue has been resolved so both program records will be present at the ODS.

When publishing Student21stCenturyLearningCenterGrantProgramAssociation resource for 21-22, the begin and end dates will first be the dates entered in the student’s enrollment record. If those dates are not populated, then the dates will be the student's entry and exit date of school. Also, the attendance hours and days will publish as entered.
