All States/Provinces: Enhanced UI - Current Selection Functionality Update

The Current Student Selection functionality was not working correctly in PowerSchool SIS 23.10.1.0 with PowerSchool SIS State/Provincial Reporting 23.10.2.x in the Enhanced User Interface (UI). This could potentially involve actions for one student being applied to another student. This was a regression issue caused by changes that allowed end users using the Enhanced UI to favorite System and Compliance reports.

These changes were rolled back and the Current Student Selection now behaves as expected. A new fix will be implemented in a future release to allow end users (using the Enhanced UI) to favorite reports (System & Compliance).

Ed-Fi: ReadingDeficiencyActivity publishing as "0"

While publishing the Student Enrollment and Demographics category, the error message { "message": "Unable to resolve value '0' to an existing 'ReadingDeficiencyActivityDescriptor' resource." } appeared. This has been resolved and 0 will be ignored as it is not a valid value.

Official Enrollment Student Roster Update

Official Enrollment Student Roster Version:

The following updates are made:

• The report was erroneously duplicating students when a student had a value in the MSDS School Facility Number Override, this is corrected.

• The report did not list the student in the proper school when the student had a value in the MSDS School Facility Number Override and the ‘Report Students at’ parameter was set to 'MSDS School Facility Number Override’, this is corrected.

• The report header is changed dependent on the ‘Report students at’ parameter option chosen:

  • When School of Enrollment option is chosen the PowerSchool school name is reported.

  • When MSDS School Facility Number Override is chosen the ‘MSDS School Facility Number - 'XXXXX’ is reported.

    • ‘XXXXX’ is the number entered in the School Info > MSDS School Facility Number field.

• For the purpose of security, the ‘Report Students at’ parameter is changed as follows:

  • The MSDS School Facility Number Override option is only available at the district level.

    • This is needed for districts that have multiple PowerSchool schools identified with the same MSDS School Facility Number.

      • When a district uses the same MSDS School Facility Number for multiple schools and the report is being run with the MSDS School Facility Number Override option, all schools with the same MSDS School Facility Number must be selected to report the correct students.

  • If the report is run from a school the default option will be 'School of Enrollment' and all students will be reported by their school of enrollment.

An issue has been corrected that prevents the excessive generation of archive logs when Data Changes are enabled.
