MI Pandemic EOY Attendance Report
Introduction
This report will create a list of students with attendance calculations for the EOY General Collection report based on the chosen parameters.
Running the Report for a School & Remote Enrollments: Remote Enrollment Attendance Code and/or Two-Way Communication Logs will be part of the report calculations if run from a School. If using the Attendance Code of '(default blank attendance code)' the School Setup > Preferences > 'Count Meeting attendance recorded at another school for students enrolled at this school' must be checked. The Refresh Premier Attendance Views Data report must be run after updating the Preferences.
Users are able to complete the following reports based on the selection of students, count method and date range:
- Pandemic EOY Att Audit Report: An audit report of the calculated attendance using the MDE Two-Way Communication Log requirements.
- Pandemic EOY Att Summary Report: A summary report of the calculated attendance using the MDE Two-Way Communication Log requirements for the purpose of creating a PowerSchool import file for the EOY General Collection Report.
Student Selection
Student records are selected based on the following criteria:
If using a current student selection, only the students in that selection will be included in the report output.
- If selecting the Two-Way Communication Log Count Method, only logs with a Student Response Date will be counted in the attendance calculation.
- The Student cannot be set to be excluded from State Reporting.
- Students who exited on or prior to the Previous Count Date will not appear in the report output.

Field | Description |

Current Selection Students | Select whether to run the export file for the selected number of students or for all students. |
Count Method | Users may select Two-way Communication Log, Attendance or Both. Note: If selecting both options, the report will add the Two-Way Communication Log and Attendance together. |
Present Attendance Codes | Select the Present Attendance Code(s) needed to meet the attendance requirement. |
First Day of School | Enter the date of the first day of school. |
Previous Count Date | Enter the previous count date. This should be the Spring General Collection Date. |
Current Count Date | Enter the current count date. This should be the EOY General Collection Date. |
Select schools to export. If none are selected the export will run for the entire district. | Select which schools to export. If a student has an Attendance Code and/or Two-Way Communication Log in more than one school, only the Attendance Code(s) and/or Two-Way Communication Log for the selected schools will appear in the report output. |
Report Output
Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report are described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

MI Pandemic EOY Att Audit List
The MI Pandemic EOY Att Audit List will produce a .csv with the following information:

MI Pandemic EOY Att Summary List
The MI Pandemic EOY Att Summary List will produce a .csv that can be imported back into PowerSchool for the EOY General Collection attendance characteristics with the following information:
