To support the Entry/Exit Code changes in PowerSchool 22.5.0 and maintain backward compatibility with earlier versions of PowerSchool, updates have been made and now the end users will see the following:

• PowerSchool version 22.5.0 (or greater) - The Entry/Exit Codes will show as inactive after the defined effective end date.

• PowerSchool versions prior to 22.5.0 - Entry/Exit Codes will behave as they always have (cannot be inactivated).

When navigating to Start Page > Student Selection > Lunch, the Economic Lunch Status field will be displayed with an updated list as follows:

• Blank

• F - Free

• R - Reduced

• P - Fully Paid

Vaccine Rules: Update ME Rules for Pre-K entry

The ME rules for the following vaccinations are updated to include doses required for entry into pre-kindergarten:

• DPT/DT - (4 doses)

• Polio - (3 doses)

• MMR - (1 dose)

• Varicella - (1 dose)

Vaccine Rules: Update for ME Polio Vaccine Rules for KG and Above Grade Students

The rules for the Polio vaccine are updated according to the ME Immunization requirements for grades KG and above as follows:
4 Polio - (Conditional: 3 Polio if the 3rd is given on or after the 4th birthday)
Compliance is awarded if all 4 doses are administered before the 4th birthday.

Native Language Update: Add Dari as a language (UI Change)

The Dari language is added to the Native Language field in compliance with Main DOE submissions for the 2022-2023 school year.

When navigating to Start Page > Student Selection > Maine Personal Information, the following fields are updated with the Dari language as a value:

• Native Language

• Native Language 2

• Native Language 3

• Native Language 4

• Native Language 5

The associated code for the ‘Dari’ language is ‘PRS’.
