Enrollment Start Status Codes

The following Enrollment Start Status codes must be assigned at the student level.

CEDS Code	Description
01821	Transfer from a public school in the same local education agency The student transferred from a public school in the same local education agency during a given academic session.
01822	Transfer from a public school in a different local education agency in the same state The student transferred a public school in a different local education agency during a given academic session.
01823	Transfer from a school in a different state The student transferred from a public school in a different state during a given academic session.
01830	Transfer from a school outside of the country The student transferred from a school outside the country during a given academic session.
01831	Transfer from an institution The student transferred from an institution during a given academic session.
01832	Transfer from a charter school The student transferred from a charter school during a given academic session.
01833	Transfer from home schooling The student transferred from a home school setting.
01835	Re-entry from the same school with no interruption of schooling The student re-entered the same school with no interruption of schooling during a given academic session.
01836	Re-entry after a voluntary withdrawal (from the same school) The student re-entered the same school during a given academic session after a voluntary withdrawal.
01837	Re-entry after an involuntary withdrawal (from the same school) The student re-entered the same school during a given academic session after an involuntary withdrawal.
01838	Original entry into a United States school The student's first entry into a school in the United States during a given academic session.
00015	Transfer from an approved Maine private school The student attended an approved private school within the State of Maine in the previous school year or during the current school year with no interruption between the two enrollments.
00041	Re-entry after a voluntary withdrawal (from different school) The student re-entered a school during a given academic session after a voluntary withdrawal from a different school.
00051	Re-entry after an involuntary withdrawal (from different school) The student re-entered a school during a given academic session after an involuntary withdrawal from a different school.
