Weapon Type Codes
The following Weapon Type codes must be set up at the District level and assigned at the student level.
Code | Definition |

02 | The frame or receiver of any weapon (including a starter gun) which will or is designed to or may readily be converted to expel a projectile by the action of an explosive |
03 | Any firearm muffler or firearm silencer |
04 | Any explosive, incendiary, or poison gas, such as a: bomb, grenade; rocket having a propellant charge of more than four ounces; missile having an explosive or incendiary charge or more than one-quarter ounce; mine; or similar device |
05 | Any weapon which will, or which may be readily converted to, expel a projectile by the action of an explosive or other propellant, and which has a barrel with a bore of more than one-half inch in diameter |
06 | Any combination of parts either designed or intended for use in converting any device into any destructive device described in 04 and 05, above, and from which a destructive device any be readily assembled |
