As of November 25, 2020, PowerSchool State Reporting only supports PowerSchool 19.4.5.3 or later, and our Technology and Support teams will focus solely on supporting PowerSchool versions 19.4.5.3 or later.

CDC DTaP Rule Update

The minimum interval between the third and fourth DTaP dose is updated to four months. The interval is now reduced from six months to four months.

A confirmation message is added on the Edit LA Sponsor Site Calendar page, to display when deleting records.

Contact Tracing Report Update - Busing Data

Contact Tracing Report: Version 1.1

The Contact Tracing report is updated and now pulls busing data based on a newly added report parameter.

With the busing data parameter checked, the report will pull students that may have shared the bus with the report the student is run for based on the following:

• Bus Number

• Route Number

• Day

• From/To School

CRDC Report: Version 1.3.3
The report is modified to retrieve information from fields on the extended tables. This may help improve the performance of the report.

The K-3 Assessment Record 141 extract version 1.8 is updated to use the extended fields and not to use the legacy custom fields.

The LA Calendar Site Sponsor and Copy SPC Event pages are updated to use the extended tables.

The SIS - Student Information System Legacy report, version 2.7 is updated to use extended fields, and not to use the legacy custom fields.

A new extract for reporting IBC information is added to the LA EdLink Transcripts report.

A new menu option Mentor Assignments is available when accessing staff who have a classification level other than 07 - Resident Teacher. Use this new feature to identify resident teachers that the staff member is mentoring, along with a date range indicating the duration of this relationship. This information is reported to EdLink via the mentor_teacher_link extract that will be available soon.

Staff Information Page

A new Mentor Assignments section is displayed on the Staff Information Page for any teacher who is participating in a mentor assignment, either as the mentor teacher or as the resident teacher. This is view-only information on this page. Mentor assignments can be modified through the new Mentor Assignments menu option, available for any teacher who is not classified as a resident teacher. If the teacher is not participating in a mentor assignment, a No Records Found message is displayed.

Schools can now identify the Classification Level for resident teachers through a new value of '07 - Resident teacher' on the Staff information page.

The Option Code field now has a new value of B = Extension Academy, and the description for value A has been shortened. The changes appear on these pages, Academics/Progress, Transfer Information, and Enroll New Student.

SIS - Student Information System - Pre-State Student Unique ID V. 1.5.2
This report is modified to use the extended table fields, which may improve performance when generating the report.

The following extracts are modified to use the extended tables and fields:

• EAGLE Student Class Assignment Upload v. 2.5
• Upload Legacy v. 1.4
• Teacher Upload v. 1.1
• Teacher Upload Legacy v. 1.1
• User Upload v. 1.1

STS - Student Transcript System v 4.6 is updated to use the extension fields and not use the legacy custom fields.

The SIS - Student Information System extract version 3.8 is updated to use the extended fields instead of legacy custom fields.

Student Digital Equity and Learning Preference Tracking Available in the Public Portal

A new page is now available (if enabled) in the public portal that will enable parents and guardians to enter learning preference and digital equity data for their student or students.

This functionality is disabled by default. To enable, navigate to the following page:

• Start Page> District Setup> Miscellaneous

If enabled, parents/guardians have the ability to create records and populate the following fields:

• Effective Date

  • Defaults to the current date

• Learning Preference

• Requested Timeframe

• Requesting Parent/Guardian

  • Defaults to the current user

• Internet in Residence*

• Internet Access*

• Internet Performance*

• Device Access*

  • Only display options 1, 2, & 5

The Comment field is not visible when a parent/guardian is creating a record but it will the following string will get saved for any record created in the public portal:

• Created in the public portal

Additionally, if a parent/guardian has entered a Digital Equity & Learning Preference record previously and they create a new record, the above elements that are marked with an asterisk will be pre-populated based on the values in the existing (previous) record.

New extracts for the reporting of Student Demographics and Transcript information are added to the LA EdLink Transcripts report.

TSDL - Student Roster Data Report is updated to use Extended Fields for data extraction.
