State Reporting 21.7.2.0 Release Notes

A release announcement will be posted on PowerSchool Community when the installer is available for download. Refer to 2021 State Reporting Releases for release dates.

You must complete all 2020-2021 school year submissions prior to installing the PowerSchool SIS State Reporting Update version 21.7.2.0. Please review the release notes for details.
This release contains updates to the KIDS Collection reports for the 2021-2022 school year ahead of updates from the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE). KSDE plans to open the KIDS production environment on or after August 1, 2021.

PSSR-252074	All States/Provinces: Learning Preferences Code Updates	The following updates are made to the Learning Preference Code definition page: The Alternative Report Code and Set as Default fields are now editable The Edit & New Digital Equity & Learning Preference record page is now updated to honor the Learning Preference Set as Default setting.

PSSR-269123	All States/Provinces: Yearly Medication Administration Record Update	Yearly Medication Administration Record: Version1.3 The Yearly Medication Administration Record is updated and it runs (and completes) as expected when a medication has a time value entered.
PSSR-257496	All States/Provinces: Yearly Medication Inventory Report Update	Yearly Medication Inventory Report: Version 1.1 The yearly Medication Inventory Report is updated, and it runs (and completes) as expected for medications with “Received” inventory.
PSSR-266267	2021-2022 KCAN and TASC Report Updates	KIDS Collection KCAN Report: Version 2.4 KIDS Collection TASC Report: Version 2.6 The header version is updated to 17.0 in KCAN and TASC Reports for SY 2021-2022.
PSSR-268385	2021-2022 KCAN Report Update	KIDS Collection KCAN Report: Version 2.4 A new input parameter is added on the report setup page, ‘Select Reporting Year’. Based upon the selection of Reporting Year, the report will run with the template defined for the specific year. 2019-2020 KCAN Report template is removed from the State Reporting Page.

PSSR-268769	KIDS Collection KCAN Report Update	KIDS Collection KCAN Report: Version 2.4 The KCAN report previously was extracting students from another school which was not selected. This is rectified and the report is updated to extract students only from the selected school.
PSSR-268231	KIDS Collection KCAN Report Update: Local Course ID	KIDS Collection KCAN Report: Version 2.4 Previously, the ‘Local Course ID’ field in the report was pulling values of the Course Number, even when a value is present in ‘Local Course ID'. This is now rectified and the report is updated to pull value from the 'Local Course ID’ field, if present, else from the Course Number. Note: No changes are made to any other existing logic for the field “Local Course ID”

PSSR-265159	State Course Setup Field Name Update	The field 'F28. College Credits Earned' is renamed to 'F26. College Credits Earned' as per the PowerSchool State Guide. Location: Start Page > School Setup > Courses > Select any Course Under Kansas Course Code Information > F26. College Credits Earned Start Page > Select a student > All Enrollments (Under Enrollment) > Edit Current Enrollment Under Kansas State Information > 'F26. College Credits Earned Override (KCAN)'.
