Student School Accountability Fields

The following fields can be used to assign various levels of reporting accountability to different schools at the individual student level.

If any of these fields are left blank, the School ID tied to each enrollment will be assigned by default, and accountability in Ed-Fi will be assigned accordingly.

Access School

Enter the school number of the school claiming access to IEP, ISTAR, or Growth Model for students with a disability.

  • Students enrolled for services only.

Accountable School

Enter the school number of the school accountable for the education of the student. Typically, this is the school in whose service area the student has legal settlement regardless of whether this is the educating school.

Servicing School

Enter the 4-digit number of the school providing services for the student.

  • Students primarily enrolled at your location who receive services elsewhere

Report Primary School = True / Yes when:

Student is Enrolled and attendance more than 50% of the time whether virtually or physically

Student is transferred in from another education setting for better accommodations (no ADM Type reported)

Primary True / Yes will identify the student to be included in the school's overall active enrollment and Pupil enrollment

Report Primary School = False / No when:

Student is Dual Enrolled and attending less than 50% of the time whether virtually or physically

Student is enrolled and attending a Career or CTE program less than 50% of the time whether virtually or physically with an agreement between 2 public schools

Student is transferred out to another education setting for better accommodations (ADM Type 2)

Student is not enrolled and attending but receiving special education services only (includes walk-ins and enrollments in another school)

Student is not enrolled and attending but referred and evaluated for special education services

Student is homeschooled and attending less than 50% of the time at either a Public or Non-Public school whether virtually or physically

Primary False / No will identify the student to NOT be included in the school's overall active enrollment and Pupil enrollment
