PSSR-347920

EDFI_IN_6: Publishing Logic Updates to the Student Program Records

The publishing logic for all the student programs has been updated to resolve minor issues. This also fixes the problem of School-level Title I records getting deleted everyday.

EDFI_IN_6: Publishing Updates to the Student Course Transcript Records

The below-mentioned Student Course Transcript updates are now available:

  • As per the value entered in the minimum section days field, only the student sections were excluded from the publishing now the respective course transcripts will also not get published.

  • The Earned Credits were only getting published if the student was in Grade Level 6 or above, this limitation has now been removed.

  • On the Student’s publishing page, the Session name will also be displayed for the Student Section records.

  • A new field, Exclude from Minimum Section Days Calculation (S_IN_STU_X.Exclude_MinSecDays) has been added on the General State Student Demographics page to exclude the student from the minimum section days count. If selected, the minimum section days calculation does not work for the student.

Fix to the Discipline Records

A one-time script has been provided to fix the Discipline records caused by the incorrect Quick Action Association Setup. After the update has been applied, the District will have to run a Publish All for the Discipline data for the correct records to go up to the DOE.

Improvements to the Publishing Year field

The publishing year field is now available on the Sections page. The Publishing Year field's functionality remains similar and will only be displayed on the Sections page if the Method of Credit Earned is one of the Summer types. After the value is entered at the Section level, the value will get rolled over to the associated stored grade and this will publish the Summer Course Transcript records for the respective year.
