Some Districts were facing an issue in which Organization Schedules had dependencies that said “Unmatched State Course Number”. This issue has been resolved.

Ed-Fi: Ability to Enter and Publish Concurrent Enrollment Records for Sub-Districts

The ability to enter and publish concurrent enrollment records is being introduced with state reporting update 22.6.3.0. This feature enables Districts with Sub-Districts set up to have students with two enrollment records at any given time. It can be used to publish two Student Enrollments records of students enrolled in two different schools, present in different Sub-Districts in the District.

Ed-Fi: Course Transcript and Academic Record Publishing Updates

Following fixes are being included for the Course Transcripts with this State Reporting Update.

• FinalNumericGradeEarned was not getting published when the Grade assigned is 0.0. This issue has been fixed and now it will not pull the null value.

• Course Transcripts will no longer be held in Dependency when all of a student's section enrollments are in another school.

• For GR data the below issues are fixed as well.

  • If Employability_Skills is selected as 0 then the Academic Record publishes the Recognition Type 1 or the Employability Skills as 'NA or Did Not Demonstrate’

  • If Postsecondary_Competencies is selected as ‘00’ then the Academic Record publishes the Recognition Type 2 or the Postsecondary_Competencies as ‘NA or Did Not Demonstrate’

  • A graduating student who attended more than one school in the school year now only has graduate data published at his most recent school in the school year (excluding the Graduated Students school and Summer Schools)

• A previous fix required an update to how a transcript record’s Primary Key is stored. Due to this change, duplicate transcript records were generated when districts re-published after installing SR_22.6.2. This fix includes a script that removes the duplicates from the publishing tables and submits deletes for the duplicates to the state.

Outstanding known issue: For students who take a class at another school, the Course Transcript and Academic Records are published as expected (associated with the remote school), but on the student’s publishing page display the student’s home school abbreviation. This issue will be resolved in a future release.

Districts are required to re-publish Student Transcripts from all schools (or District-wide) after installation.

Ed-Fi: Exclude from Ed-Fi Flag for Student Course Enrollment Records

An 'Exclude from Edfi' flag has been introduced for course enrollment records and it is available on the Edit Page of the Student Course Enrollment Record. It impacts the records in the below-mentioned ways:

• If the flag is set to Yes, then the Student Section and the Course Transcript will not be published for that particular enrollment record.

• If the flag is set to Yes for all the course enrollment records available for a particular term then the Academic Record will not get published as well.

The publishing format of the UniqueSectionCode has been changed for Section, Student Section Association, and Staff Section Association resources. Now it is published as Section.SchoolId-Course_Number-Section_Number-SectionDCID.

Special Education Information Page Navigation Issue Corrected

There was a Special Education Information page issue, in which when editing or modifying an existing Special Education Record then navigating to another student via the toggle screen option, the page did not direct to the Special Education Information page, and instead it redirected to the Special Education page without any HTML/CSS. This issue has been fixed.

IN DOE : Staff Assignment Publishing Logic Correction and Update

Ed-Fi Staff Assignment publishing is updated to have the following changes:

• Manually created Staff Assignments will now publish regardless of whether the District Pref ‘Publish Staff Type 2 ("Staff") in Ed-Fi’ is checked.

• Staff Assignments and Staff Contacts are no longer created for inactive School Affiliations. (Staff > Security Settings > Teachers and Affiliations > active box is unchecked for a school/district.)

• When using mapped Role Definitions, a District Office role definition is no longer automatically applied to all schools the staff member is also associated with.

• Staff Assignments publishing is updated to no longer publish Staff Classifications of Teacher at District Office.

• When a Staff member has manually entered Staff Assignments, Ed-Fi publishing is updated to not create additional Staff Classifications from Role Definitions, or a 'default' staff classification. Manually entered staff classifications are expected to act as an override to mapped role definitions or a default value.

• Two Teacher Staff Classification records will no longer be created having differing Start Dates if manually created Teacher staff assignments exist for a teacher teaching at least one section.

• Staff Assignments publishing is updated to correctly submit a delete for the existing record, then send a new record when a staff member's security roll is changed (if using mapped Role Definitions).
