Attendance Profile Report: Version 1.4

The render class for the Attendance Profile report is updated and the report will now complete successfully regardless of which node (in the array) processes the report job.

Ed-Fi (DOE): Student Transcript Updates - Part 2

Student Transcript publishing is updated with the following changes:

• One transcript record for each unique combination of StudentId, state reporting SchoolId, TermId (term descriptor), and state reporting Course Code from final grades in StoredGrades.

• Student is enrolled in one or more sections having a State Course Code, but the student has no final Grade record (StoredGrades table) with that same state course code , in this case one transcript record for each unique State Course Code.

• For FinalNumericGradeEarned, if the Grade Points value is more than 4, publish 4. (if no grade mapping exists).

• If a Course is flagged as Applied_Units = Y, students taking the course are reported as EarnedCreditType = Regular Credit, when they should be reported as Applied Unit.

• Final Grades are published with a decimal and a 0 (example: 0.5/1.0/2.5).

• courseAttemptResultType logic is updated as follows:

  • If any section in the grouped course is Pass then publish Pass

  • If none passed but one is Fail then publish Fail

  • If none passed or failed and all are withdrawn then publish Incomplete

  • Otherwise, publish No grade awarded

Ed-Fi: Student Transcripts - Update for Employability Skills and Post Secondary Competencies

Student Transcript publishing for the IN DOE Ed-Fi profile is updated to publish Employability Skills & Post Secondary Competencies if populated for graduating students as part of their GR data in the Academic record resource.

Ed-Fi: Logic Update for Alternative Education Program Publishing

Following logic updates have been implemented for publishing the Alternative Education Program:

• If a student has exited the school prior to the end of the school year with the program exit date and exit reason being null. Then, the published Exit Date for the Alternative Education Program defaults to the last in-session date for the student, and the exit reason defaults to the exit reason 5 - Transferred/returned to other school setting prior to completing the program.

• If the program’s begin date does not fall within the date range of the student’s enrollment record but it is within the date of the school year, then the published begin date defaults to the student’s entry date.

New School/School Info Field: Minimum Number of Section Enrollment Days

A new field, Minimum section enrollment days for Ed-Fi publishing is added under the Indiana State Information section of the schools/school info page to specify the minimum number of section enrollment days. The Ed-Fi resources Student Section Association, Transcript Courses, and Academic Records are not published if the student is enrolled for less than the minimum number of days specified.
