All States/Provinces: New - Import ID Look-Up Functionality

The Append Import ID functionality allows users to upload an import file with any of the four student ID values (dcid, id, state student number, or student number). The user can then select which ID/foreignkey their file contains and which of the remaining three, they want to add. The system would create a new version of their import file with defined columns and data and the additional, indicated ID/foreignkey columns added as additional columns.

This functionality helps the user to import data into PowerSchool without having to go through a great deal of manual manipulation especially while importing into extension tables since they use studentDCID which is not easily accessible in PowerSchool.

Ed-Fi 2: Event Duration Not Getting Updated for Published Attendance Records

Districts faced an issue in which the event duration was not getting updated and published correctly if the attendance records were modified from Present to Absent for half a day or a full day. This issue has been resolved with this State Reporting Release.

Ed-Fi 2: Organization Schedule Updates

The publishing logic for the Organization Schedules has been updated to consider the sections even if there are no valid student enrollments associated with the section. Previously, the publishing logic was only looking at the active enrollments. This issue has been resolved with this State Reporting Release.

Ed-Fi 2: Responsible Organization aka Student Education Organization Association Publish Updates

The Responsible Organization Records, aka Student Education Organization Association Records, were not getting published automatically. This issue has been resolved with this State Reporting Release.

Ed-Fi 2: Staff Assignment Publishing Improvements

With this State Reporting Release, a Staff Termination Date field has been added to the Staff Information Page under the IN State Report Information Section. This field will be used when the staff’s account has been made inactive, and their Staff Assignment Records are published based on the Admin Access and Roles and the Teachers and Affiliations Page. If the Staff Termination Date has been filled in, then the staff assignment records’ end date will be the date filled in the Staff Termination Date field. After that, the manually created Staff Assignment Records will get published as usual.

The publishing logic for the Staff Section records has been updated to consider the sections even if there are no valid student enrollments associated with the section. Ed-Fi 2: Student Enrollment Records Were Not Getting Published

For some Districts, the Student Enrollment Records were not getting published and were stuck either at Started or Waiting status. With this State Reporting Release, this issue has been fixed.

Validations have been added to the Primary School Of Enrollment field

Users could import or update the value of Primary School Of Enrollment to any other values that were not acceptable, and the field was not case-sensitive. This issue has been fixed, and with this State Reporting Release, the field will only accept Null (Blank), Y, or N as values.
