There are no state-mandated attendance codes for Indiana; however, you must identify attendance codes as either excused or unexcused.

Sign into a school.

Under Setup, click School. The School Setup page appears.

Under Attendance, click Attendance Codes.

Under Description, click the link for the attendance code.

If the attendance code represents:
Excused attendance, select Excused.Unexcused attendance, select Unexcused
