When to Create a District Calendar

A unique calendar must be set up for each unique student schedule and school year that cannot be met using the related school calendar. In most cases, this will only include students who do not attend school every day or who attend on a half-day schedule, such as Kindergarten students. Other scenarios include students whose attendance must be reported in hours, such as students attending an Alternative school or students who are considered 'dual enrolled'.
