Discipline Incident Letters: Version 1.0

New Discipline Letter functionality is now available that allows end users to create and configure discipline letters, from Incident Management, that can be sent home to parents and guardians if their student was involved in a discipline-related incident.

These discipline letters are created at the district level and can be pushed out to, and made available at, a school or schools within the district.

The discipline letters are generated by a new Discipline Incident Letters report that is located on the System Reports tab

Note: Discipline Incident Letters only work with Incident Management.

23-24 ISEE Update - Attendance Code Category - Excused Absence Mapping FIeld

A new field is now available at the Attendance Code Category level (path below) that will be leveraged when reporting the new absenceReason element in the Student Attendance report.

Note: The Attendance Code Category that represents excused absences is the only Attendance Category that should have this new field checked.

Additional Note: In order to report this new element correctly, any “absent” attendance code must be mapped to either an Excused or Unexcused Attendance Code Category

New - ISEE Discipline Reporting Quick Entry Template for Incident Management

A new ISEE Discipline Reporting Quick Entry Template (Incident Management) has now been made available for all ID districts. This template includes all fields that are required for Discipline Action reporting.

Note: When using Incident Management quick entry templates, ensure the following setting is set to “Behavior”:

ISEE 23-24 Updates - Student Attendance - New absenceReason Column

ID Student Attendance Report: Version 5.3

The Student Attendance report has been updated and will now display the new (for 23-24) column .

  • If the student has 0 ADA value for a given day and all absence codes are excused, EA will be returned.

  • If the student has 0 ADA value for a given day and all absence codes are NOT excused, UA will be returned.

  • NA will be reported if the student attended a partial day, but not enough to qualify for any ADA (ADA = 0).
