PSSR-281816 | Data Collection Updates for Homeless Student Served, Accountable District, and Entry Type | Data Collection updates are now available for the following Iowa state reporting fields: - Field D0800 - Homeless Student Served Through McKinney-Vento Subgrant
- On the Iowa Demographics tab and on the Transfer Info pages, this field is no longer conditionally displayed based on the District Number of the participating districts.
- Districts that participate in the McKinney-Vento Subgrant program must continue to populate this element as required.
- Districts that do not participate should leave the value set to the default of 99.
- Field D0207 - Accountable District
- The drop-down list for this field is restored to its expected state on the Iowa Enrollment tab and on the Transfer Info pages.
- Accountable District now also appears on the Re-Enroll Student Enrollment Function page.
- The related warning validation to flag this element as required when Entry Code is 16 now displays as expected when editing prior records.
- Districts should ensure Accountable District is populated as required for any students who were enrolled or re-enrolled with Entry Code 16.
- Field D0175 - Entry Type: The validation warning now displays as expected on the Transfer Info and Enrollment Function pages based on the following state rules:
- Required for all PK-12 students with Entry Codes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 15, 19, or 81, and with days enrolled > 1, except when Service / Facility Type = 8 Border Agreements.
- Not required for CPI or shared time students with Entry Codes 6-9, 12-14, 16, 18, 21, 27-29, 40, 51, and 82.
- Dropdown List Values Moved to PS_Common_Code: The drop-down lists for the following elements, which are reported with values of 1(Yes), 0 (No), or 99 (Not Applicable), now reference a new code set in the PS_Common_Code table:
- D0228 Receiving Educational Services
- D0341 Unaccompanied Homeless Youth
- D0800 Homeless Served Through McKinney-Vento Subgrant
- D0555 Extracurricular Activities

PSSR-281320 | New ISASP Accommodations Data Collection for ISASP Extract | Start Page > Select Student > State/Province - IA > Testing The student Testing tab is updated with new fields to capture accommodations and designated supports for the ISASP Extract. In a subsequent release, the ISASP Extract report will be updated to support the inclusion of the new fields for upload to the state assessment system. Districts can begin entering accommodations ahead of the report update. The accommodations fields are initially set to defaults of blank (NULL). Coding is required only for students who need a specific accommodation or support. The new fields have been added to the Iowa extension table of students (S_IA_STU_X), and can be manually entered, imported, or mass-assigned using the Student Field Value function. - Interface Language

- Line Reader
- Column name: LINE_RDR

- On-screen text: Blocks all but a small section of the text on the screen. This feature is off by default for all students, but any student can turn it on if they want to use it. Enabling this setting turns on the line reader by default for the student. Students can turn this on or off while testing.
- Answer Masking
- Column name: ANSWER_MASK

- Valid values: 1 (Enabled) or blank (default=Disabled)
- On-screen text: Masks all answer choices until student clicks them to reveal them. This tool is available to all students. Enabling this setting turns on answer masking by default for the student. Students can turn this on or off while testing.
