Use the English Mastery Standard codes to determine the student's Date of Mastery.
Grade | Criteria of Mastery |

Grade K–2 | Overall Proficiency Level 4 on the LAS Links
Grade level performance on the Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA) |
Grade 3–8 | Overall Proficiency Level 4 on the LAS Links
Proficient or above on the mathematics and reading subtests, and basic or above on the writing subtest of the Connecticut Mastery Test (CMT) |
Grade 9 | Overall Proficiency Level 4 on the LAS Links
Proficient or above on the mathematics and reading subtests, and basic or above on the writing subtest of the Grade 8 CMT |
Grade 10–12 | Overall Proficiency Level 4 on the LAS Links
Basic level or above on the mathematics, reading, and writing subtests of the Connecticut Academic Performance Test (CAPT) |
