PSSR-394661

AR/ELP - New Identifier Field on School/School info Page

Two new identifier fields have been added to the School/School Info page under the State Reporting section to support compliance requirements for AR (Attendance Recovery) and ELP (English Language Proficiency) programs:

• Is this remote school used for ELP Programs? (Checkbox)

• Is this remote school used for Attendance Recovery Programs? (Checkbox)

These fields are available only when the Summer/Remote school identifier is selected. They allow schools to flag remote institutions that participate in ELP or AR programs, ensuring the appropriate values are included in reports and extracts as required by state reporting specifications.

CA - AR/ELP - New Attendance Code Level Identifier

Two new checkbox fields have been added to the Attendance Code setup page to support future compliance reporting and enable more precise tracking:

• Is this Attendance Code used for Attendance Recovery?

• Is this Attendance Code used for Expanded Learning Program?

These fields are intended to flag whether an attendance event should be counted toward Attendance Recovery or Expanded Learning Programs. Although currently designated for future reporting use, it is recommended that districts begin configuring these fields to ensure readiness.

CA - California Transcript Update

California Transcripts, Version 5.4

The California Transcript has been updated in Version 5.4 to ensure accurate display of values for graduation plan nodes that use the Requirement Logic field set to "Any."

CA - Courses and Sections screen update

The Courses and Sections screen has been updated to include two new fields for enhanced program tracking and future compliance reporting:

• Expanded Learning Section Indicator

• Attendance Recovery Indicator

These fields have been added to identify whether a section is associated with Expanded Learning Programs or Attendance Recovery. Districts are encouraged to begin using these fields as part of their course setup to ensure alignment with upcoming reporting requirements.

CA - Program Eligibility Page Update

The Program Eligibility page has been updated to support CALPADS reporting requirements for Expanded Learning Opportunity (ELP) students:

• Education Program Code 194 (Expanded Learning Opportunity) has been added.

• A new field, Number of Days Attended (Override), has been introduced to allow manual entry of attendance days when needed.

CA - Student Absence Summary (STAS) Update

Report Name : Student Absence Summary (STAS), Version:4.2

Student Absenteeism Report, Version: 4.0

A new input parameter has been added to the STAS Report to allow users to include or exclude records from NPS and Private Schools:

• Include the NPS and Private School Records (0000001 or 0000002) (Checkbox)

This checkbox is unchecked by default. Records associated with NPS and Private Schools will only be included in the report if the checkbox is explicitly selected.

CA - Student Incident Records (SINC) report update

Student Incident Records (SINC) Version 2.5

The Student Incident Records (SINC) report now displays the selected value for Student Instructional Support Indicator when the Statutory Offense Indicator is set to Y, rather than defaulting to N if a value is not available.
