PSSR-286871AzEDS 2022-23 Changes: 21st Century Program (CCLC) Reporting Changes

The following publishing and data collection updates are implemented to support 21st Century Program (CCLC) program reporting requirement changes for the 2022-23 school year:

  • Both the Courses and Sections setup pages are updated to include a new field: CCLC Activity Type, allowing district staff to specify the type of CCLC activity students are participating in when enrolled in the CCLC course or section.
    • Section value overrides the Course level value when publishing attendance records.
  • AzEDS Student Program Attendance publishing is updated to include ActivityDescriptorID information when publishing Program Attendance records for a student CCLC course enrollment.

For more information about the new CCLC Activity Type field and 2022-23 reporting guidance, see the following PowerSchool Online Help article:

21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) Reporting.

PSSR-286869AzEDS 22-23 Changes: Enable the AzEDS 2022-23 Profile

PowerSchool is updated to include a new AzEDS 2022-23 profile for the next school year reporting, with the following attributes:

  • The AzEDS 2022-23 profile is released in an ‘enabled’ state, so that it shows as visible in the left pane, but with the ‘School Year’ and all ‘Service Options’ unchecked on the DEX General Setup page.
    • The profile will be visible, but will not ‘do anything’ until District Staff check the box to enable the 2022-2023 school year, enable the service options, and enable the LEA using the Configure link on the AzEDS 2022-23 Profile page.
  • The AzEDS 2022-23 profile is released with the 8.0 Data Exchange and Authentication URLs pre-populated, and with the district’s Authentication Key and Secret copied forward into the new profile.

Note: While the AzEDS 2022-23 profile is made available so that districts can start publishing their School Calendars when the state opens the 2022-23 ODS, the profile does not include all 2022-23 changes. Additional updates supporting 2022-23 changes will be available in future state reporting releases.
