ESL Endorsement Codes
The following codes indicate a staff member's English as a Second Language endorsement.
Code | Description |

1 | ESL, Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), or Teachers of English Language Learners (TELL) |
2 | BE (Bilingual Education) |
3 | CC (Has at least 3 credit hours of coursework or the equivalent hours of professional development in ESL or in BE) |
4 | Both (ESL, TESOL, or TELL and BE) |
5 | Not Endorsed for ESL, TESOL, TELL, or BE. |
X | Not English as Second Language Teacher or not a teacher with assignment code of 15. |
