Provincial Reporting 21.3.2.0 Release Notes

The PASI Direct Connect plugin is updated to version 4.3.0

The following updates have been made to the Learning Preferences functionality:

• Learning Preferences Code creation link is moved to District Setup page under the Code Sets link.
• The Code Start Date & Code End Date are now editable.
• The Learning Preferences link at Student-Level is renamed to Digital Equity & Learning Preferences.
• When creating a new record, field values from the last record with the greatest Effective Date carry forward if present.
  • Fields that copy to a new record:
    • Internet In Residence
    • Internet Access
    • Internet Performance
    • Device Access
    • Device Type
    • Device Serial number
    • Paper Learning Packets

The Snapshot reports are fixed now and the reports are running and showing the completed successfully status as expected.

The date of birth field used for Student Lookup and dates entered when creating new documents will now accepts months with a single digit.

Concurrent enrolments will now only display once on the Concurrent Enrolment tab and will be properly submitted to PASI.

Organization names for the Resident Board drop-down will now list the most current name available from PASI.

  • If a state has code sets disabled then the Learning Preferences Code creation link can be found at the last section under the Code Setup Header

• Access to the Digital Equity & Learning Preferences link, at the student level, is now governed by a check box in the "Edit Security Group" page (path below).
  Path: Start page> System> Groups>[ select group ]
  Upon receiving the update, administrators must go into security groups and give the appropriate groups access to this page.
  Note: This security group setting is suppressed for ND and TX.

Users that have multiple roles will no longer get errors when trying to view documents from the document icon.

The PASI documents icon will be visible in all schools that have a valid Alberta school code and are synchronized with PASI.

Conflicts on Citizenship Status will now compare effective dates against all available citizenship statuses in PASI.

Document previews will now scale with the pop-up window the PASI Student Profile.

When a diploma exam record is deleted, any rejections associated with the record will also be deleted.

The mass diploma exam registration process will no longer create rejection core alerts for records that are not stored in PowerSchool, rejection messages will still be available as part of the job details.

Teachers can now click the PASI Reports icon in the Teacher's Portal to run reports for the entire section.

Course enrolment events that are not tied to a valid Alberta course code will now be discarded instead of waiting in the unprocessed event queue.

The batch school setup functionality at the district office will now push the Alberta Years & Terms fields to the selected schools.
